One of the best to ever play in the Big East conference will be honored next month.....as an Atlantic Coast Conference basketball legend.
Former Notre Dame All-American power forward Troy Murphy will be one of 15 honored by the ACC at the league's annual post-season tournament in Greensboro, N.C.
Murphy, who left school following his junior year and was an NBA lottery pick, earned Big East rookie of the year and player of the year honors during his collegiate career.
