Rivals rates Okwara as a four-star recruit, the No. 16 outside linebacker and No. 179 regardless of position in the 2016 class. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound Okwara attends Ardrey Kell High School in Charlotte, N.C.

Okwara also added offers from Michigan and Georgia this week.
