A day after being officially named Notre Dame's new offensive coordinator, Mike Sanford has identified a new 2016 quarterback target.

Matt Fink, a 6-foot-3, 185-pound junior at Glendora (Calif.) High, reported an offer from Notre Dame on Tuesday. The three-star recruit shared the news on Twitter.

Fink's first scholarship offer came in October from Boise State when Sanford was the offensive coordinator for the Broncos last season. Now the Irish have joined a growing list of offers that recently reached double figures for Fink. Utah, Washington, Boston College and Kansas are among the schools to have already offered Fink.

Fink led Glendora to a 9-3 record in his junior season. He completed 96 of his 165 passes (58 percent) for 1,386 yards and 10 touchdowns. Proving to be a dual-threat quarterback, Fink also rushed for 725 yards and three touchdowns.

247Sports slates Fink as the No. 11 dual-threat quarterback in the 2016 recruiting class. Rivals ranks him as the No. 12 pro-style quarterback.
