Notre Dame’s big recruiting weekend won’t officially start until Saturday, but the Irish are already busy hosting prospects.

Four-star recruit A.J. Taylor arrived in South Bend on Tuesday and made an unofficial visit Wednesday. He and his parents attended Notre Dame’s first practice of the spring Wednesday morning.

Taylor, a junior at Kansas City (Mo.) Rockhurst, already claims offers from several schools including Missouri, Wisconsin, Kansas State and Nebraska but has yet to receive a Notre Dame offer.

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound prospect played running back, wide receiver and defensive back as a junior. Rivals ranks Taylor as the No. 10 athlete without a designated position and No. 128 overall. 247Sports slates him as the No. 45 running back in the 2016 class.

On Thursday, the Irish are scheduled to host four-star linebacker Curtis Robinson, a junior at Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei. The 6-foot-3, 215-pound Robinson, who attends the alma mater of current ND players Joe Schmidt and Sam Bush, reported an offer from Notre Dame in January. Oklahoma, Stanford, Michigan and USC are among the schools to have offered Robinson since then.

247Sports slates Robinson as the No. 8 outside linebacker and No. 78 regardless of position in the 2016 class. Rivals ranks Robinson as the No. 15 athlete and No. 168 overall.

The Irish will host more than 20 recruits on Saturday.
