WR recruit Joshua Hammond to visit Notre Dame on Wednesday

Three-star wide receiver prospect Joshua Hammond is expected to visit Notre Dame on Wednesday. The junior from Hallandale, Fla., received a scholarship offer from the Irish in January.

Hallandale head coach Dameon Jones said Hammond plans to visit Ohio State and Michigan as well this week. Hammond reported an offer from the Wolverines on Monday. He’s also claimed offers from Florida, Florida State and LSU, among others.

Rivals ranks the 6-1, 180-pound Hammond as the No. 57 wide receiver in the 2016 class. 247Sports slates him No. 78 at the position.
