Video: Lou Holtz the magician?

Former Notre Dame head coach Lou Holtz recently visited the Texas football program.

During a speech to the Longhorns, Holtz rattled off a number of motivational stories. Given his résumé, the ability to challenge players shouldn't be surprising.

But at some point in Holtz's career, he learned quite the magic trick with a newspaper.

"We always think there's such a thing as magic," Holtz said. "I fooled around with magic a little bit. I'd like to do a simple little trick for you if I can. I don't know if I can or not."

"This is like any other newspaper. The front page is for people that will read the news. You have the comics for people who can't read. And we have the editorial page for people who can't think."

Then Holtz starts to rip apart the newspaper. That's when the magic happens.

You can watch Holtz's speech and trick below in the video from the Longhorn Network. His magic starts at 3:25.
