In less than five full months, Andrew Pryts has been elevated to a national recruit.

The ACC, Big 12, Big Ten, Pac-12 and the SEC have all been represented in his recruitment with scholarship offers. The latest reported offer for the 2016 safety prospect came from Notre Dame.

Pryts, a junior at Hermitage (Pa.) Hickory, announced a new offer from the Irish via Twitter on Tuesday night. Notre Dame joined the likes of Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan State, Alabama, Stanford and others in the pursuit of Pryts.

Very grateful and honored to receive an offer from the University of Notre Dame!
