What's next for former Notre Dame signee Bo Wallace?
Bo Wallace doesn't want to say much, but he's working on keeping his college football future intact.
Days after announcing he would not be enrolling at Notre Dame in January, the 2015 defensive end recruit declined a phone interview with ND Insider. Wallace did provide smaller details while leaving the bigger questions unanswered.
The 6-foot-4, 215-pound prospect described the split with Notre Dame as a "mutual" decision between both parties.
As for his future, Wallace said he is working on finalizing plans to enroll at another Division I school in June.
Wallace, a three-star recruit, signed a National Letter of Intent with Notre Dame in February. The Irish would have to release him from the agreement in order for him to play at another school on scholarship this fall.
Notre Dame is left without a defensive end in its 2015 recruiting class because of the loss of Wallace. Rivals ranked Wallace as the No. 26 outside linebacker in the 2015 class. 247Sports slated him No. 29 at the position. He recorded 52 tackles, 16 tackles for a loss and nine sacks in his senior season at River Ridge (La.) John Curtis Christian.
UPDATE: Wallace visited Arizona State on Thursday. He shared the below photo on Twitter.
