Notre Dame and "underrated" don't usually go hand-in-hand.
But in his mailbag on Wednesday, Fox Sports' Stewart Mandel made a case for the Irish as a legitimate playoff contender that may get written off prematurely in the wake of the Everett Golson transfer news.
Notre Dame finished just 8-5 last season, but 19 starters return for a promising 2015 campaign.
