No need may bigger in Notre Dame's 2016 recruiting class than defensive end. The Irish coaching staff continued its search with another offer Wednesday.

Antonneous Clayton, a 6-foot-4, 215-pound prospect at Dooly County High School in Vienna, Ga., reported a Notre Dame offer. Clayton said he had been in touch with Irish recruiting coordinator Mike Elston.

Notre Dame joins Clayton's double-digit offer list that includes Alabama, Auburn, Clemson and Michigan State.

As a junior, Clayton notched 72 tackles, 22 tackles for a loss, 16 sacks, six forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

Rivals rates Clayton as a four-star recruit. 247Sports pegs him as a three-star prospect and the No. 36 weakside defensive end in the 2016 class.
