An April offer has put Notre Dame in a good spot for safety recruit Chacho Ulloa.

The three-star prospect placed the Irish in his top five Friday. He also listed Arizona State, Michigan State, Stanford and Vanderbilt as his top schools in an announcement on Twitter.

The 5-foot-11, 186-pound junior at Corona (Calif.) Centennial grabbed a Notre Dame offer during an unofficial visit with his B2G Sports seven-on-seven team. Ulloa's teammate, four-star wide receiver Javon McKinley, made the same visit and recently put the Irish in his top six schools.

Ulloa recorded 59 tackles and three interceptions in his junior season. Rivals ranks him as the No. 24 safety in the 2016 class. 247Sports slates him 54th at the position.
