Standout 2016 safety D.J. Morgan reports Notre Dame offer

D.J. Morgan is committed, but that doesn't mean he's off the market.

Last week, the 6-foot-3, 200-pound safety gave a verbal pledge to Arizona State. But that didn't stop Notre Dame from offering him on Tuesday.

Of course, the Irish aren't the only ones in line. Ranked as a four-star recruit and  the No. 24 athlete in the 2016 signing class by Rivals and a three-star prospect by 247Sports, Morgan touts offers from the likes of Vanderbilt, Utah, Nebraska, Northwestern, California, Colorado and more. Morgan also visited South Bend last month.

Notre Dame has yet to receive a verbal commitment from a safety in its 2016 class.

A Bellflower, Calif., native, Morgan made 112 tackles and recovered two fumbles last season. Check out some of his highlights below.

Blessed to say I've received an offer from Notre Dame
