Two more reported offers finished off a busy Wednesday for Notre Dame.

The focus on defense continued with new offers to 2016 safety Thomas Jones and 2017 cornerback William Poole III. Safety Chanse Sylvie, cornerback Troy Pride Jr., and wide receiver Marquez Stevenson reported offers earlier Wednesday.

Jones, a 6-foot-2, 190-pound prospect at Laurens (S.C.) District 55, reported an Irish offer after talking with running backs coach Autry Denson. He counts Notre Dame among his double-digit offer list which also includes Georgia Tech, Louisville, South Carolina and North Carolina.

Both Rivals and 247Sports rate Jones as three-star recruit. 247Sports slates him as the No. 23 safety in the 2016 class.

Poole, a 5-11, 173-pound prospect at Atlanta Hapeville Charter, hit 20 scholarship offers with the latest from Notre Dame. The Irish joined a list that already included Alabama, Clemson, Georgia and UCLA.

Both Rivals and 247Sports rate Poole as a four-star recruit. 247Sports pegs him as the No. 15 cornerback and No. 200 overall in the 2017 class.
