On a day when Michigan's satellite football camp invaded Houston, Notre Dame made sure to squeeze in a scholarship offer to a recruit in the area.

Dontavious Jackson, a four-star linebacker, reported an offer from the Irish on Monday. Jackson also attended the Aldine Elite College Football Camp with Michigan coaches Monday in Houston.

The 6-foot-2, 238-pound prospect claims more than 50 offers including Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Michigan, Alabama, LSU and UCLA.

Jackson was credited with 165 tackles, 27 tackles for a loss and six sacks in his junior season at Elsik High School.

247Sports slates Jackson as the No. 2 inside linebacker and No. 94 overall in the 2016 class. Rivals ranks him 12th at his position.
