Jeffrey McCulloch's nickname is "The Shark."

But will he feed at Notre Dame?

McCulloch — a 6-foot-2, 235-pound linebacker from Houston, Texas — reported an offer from Notre Dame on Saturday morning, adding the Irish to a list that includes more than 30 teams.

A standout at Aldine Davis High School, McCulloch is ranked as a four-star prospect by both Rivals and 247Sports. More specifically, Rivals lists McCulloch as the No. 10 inside linebacker in the country, the No. 25 player in the state of Texas and the No. 213 overall prospect in the 2016 class. Even more impressive, McCulloch is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 10 outside linebacker in the nation, the No. 13 player in Texas and the No. 88 overall recruit in 2016.

McCulloch owns scholarship offers from the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Baylor, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Oregon, USC, and now, Notre Dame.

But will "The Shark" become Brian Kelly's first linebacker commit in the 2016 class?
