Notre Dame has two verbal commitments in the 2017 signing class, and both appeared in the freshly updated Scout 300 on Wednesday.

The list, which ranked the top 300 prospects in the 2017 class, slotted four-star tight end Brock Wright at No. 62, and four-star offensive guard Dillan Gibbons at No. 295.

Wright — a 6-foot-5, 238-pound tight end at Cy-Fair High School in Cypress, Texas — is also ranked by Scout as the No. 1 tight end in the 2017 class. Elsewhere, Rivals and 247Sports both list Wright as a four-star prospect, with 247Sports also dubbing him the premier tight end in 2017.

Gibbons, the first verbal commit in Notre Dame's 2017 class, is ranked by Scout as the No. 14 offensive guard in the country. He is also listed as a three-star recruit by both Rivals and 247Sports. The 6-5, 304-pound lineman for Northside Christian School in St. Petersburg, Fla., is pegged as the No. 30 offensive tackle in the country and the No. 283 overall prospect in the 2017 cycle by 247 Sports.
