Adetokunbo Ogundeji is ready to commit.

On Thursday, the three-star defensive end recruit plans to announce his decision. Ogundeji said he will choose one of four schools: Notre Dame, Rutgers, Oregon and Toledo.

The Irish could be in the pole position after hosting the 6-foot-4, 215-pound prospect twice in June. Ogundeji camped for the Notre Dame coaching staff and received an Irish offer soon after. He followed that up with a return visit to South Bend on June 27.

"It’s a beautiful campus,” Ogundeji told ND Insider following his visit. “You walk around and every single part of the campus has something to it.”

Ogundeji, a rising senior at Walled Lake (Mich.) Central, was previously committed to Western Michigan but withdrew his pledge after interest from bigger schools started to develop.

247Sports slates Ogundeji as the No. 39 weakside defensive end in the 2016 class. He did not make the top 40 players at the position on Rivals.
