Notre Dame's future looks bright.

At least, according to the rankings.

Notre Dame's two verbal commits in the 2017 class, tight end Brock Wright and offensive guard Dillan Gibbons, both appeared in the updated ESPN 300 rankings on Monday.

A 6-foot-5, 245-pound tight end from Cypress, Texas, Wright was ranked by ESPN as the No. 1 tight end in the 2017 class and the No. 21 overall prospect. Wright, who participated in Irish Invasion before committing earlier this summer, is ranked as a four-star recruit by ESPN, Rivals and 247Sports. The Cy-Fair High School standout hauled in 17 passes for 369 yards and two touchdowns in his sophomore season.

Gibbons, Notre Dame's first verbal commit in the 2017 class, landed at No. 264 in the ESPN 300 rankings. The 6-foot-4, 300-pound Saint Petersburg, Fla., native  is ranked as a four-star recruit by ESPN and a three-star prospect by Rivals and 247Sports.
