Four-star linebacker Dontavious Jackson trimmed his list of top schools to 12 on Friday, and Notre Dame made the list.

The Irish were joined by Alabama, LSU, UCLA, Michigan, Miami, Texas, TCU, Florida State, Fresno State, Oklahoma and Ole Miss. Jackson made the announcement on Twitter.

Jackson, a 6-foot-2, 248-pound prospect from Houston (Texas) Elsik, claimed more than 50 offers before making some cuts. He reported a Notre Dame offer June 8.

Jackson recorded 165 tackles, 27 tackles for a loss and six sacks last season as a junior. 247Sports slates Jackson as the No. 4 inside linebacker and No. 102 overall in the 2016 class. Rivals ranks him No. 12 at the position.
