Notre Dame LB target Caleb Kelly schedules official visit

Plans to visit Notre Dame haven't worked out before for Caleb Kelly, but the senior linebacker has scheduled another trip South Bend.
Kelly, regarded as one of the top outside linebackers in the 2016 class, announced on Twitter his five official visits. Notre Dame will receive the last visit on Dec. 11.
The 6-foot-3, 219-pound linebacker at Fresno (Calif.) Clovis West previously indicated visit plans for June and July but neither trips happened.
"It would be smart to go out there and check it out,” Kelly said in July. “The academics are high. It’s an all-around pretty good school. My coach, Coach (Tony) Perry, he really wants me to go out there and check it out.”
Rivals rates Kelly as a five-star prospect and the No. 5 outside linebacker in the 2016 class. 247Sports slates him as a four-star recruit and second at the position.
Kelly also plans to use official visits to Michigan, Oregon, Texas and Oklahoma.
