Notre Dame tops list of most expensive football tickets

With games at home against Texas and USC, Notre Dame football tickets are going for the highest average ticket price at home this season at $332.09, Forbes.com reported Thursday.
That tally is according to ticket search engine TiqIQ. It’s the highest preseason average TiqIQ has recorded in the past five years.
That average is based on prices in the secondary market.
Three of the five most expensive games right now will feature Notre Dame, two in South Bend.
Prices for the Nov. 21 Notre Dame vs. Boston College Shamrock Series game at Fenway Park are averaging $919.90 per ticket. Texas at Notre Dame comes in second at $829.29, and USC at Notre Dame ranks fifth at $590.81.
Face value for a general admission ticket to the Sept. 5 Notre Dame vs. Texas or the Oct. 17 Notre Dame vs. USC game is $125.
Face value for a general admission ticket to the Notre Dame-Boston College game range from $125 to $225 per ticket.
