Adetokunbo Ogundeji’s senior season is over.

The 6-foot-4, 215-pound Notre Dame commit learned Thursday that a partially torn MCL in his right knee would sideline him for the rest of his high school football career.

Ogundeji, a three-star defensive end at Walled Lake (Mich.) Central, injured his knee in the first half of his game last week. Ogundeji told ND Insider he will not need surgery.

Fellow Notre Dame commit Spencer Perry, a safety recruit, declared himself out for the season earlier this week because of a shoulder injury.
