IRISH STEW
Baron Browning is verbally committed to Baylor, but that doesn't mean he's off the market just yet.
On Tuesday, Browning — a 6-foot-4, 220-pound outside linebacker — reported a Notre Dame offer. The 2017 prospect, who lists more than 25 offers, is ranked as a four-star recruit by Rivals and 247Sports.
A standout at Kennedale High School in Kennedale, Texas, Browning is ranked as the No. 5 outside linebacker, the No. 12 player in the state of Texas and the No. 90 overall recruit in the 2017 class by Rivals, as well as the No. 3 outside linebacker, the No. 6 player in Texas and the No. 31 national recruit by 247Sports.
Browning owns offers from the likes of Baylor (obviously), Alabama, Arkansas, Florida State, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Stanford, TCU, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, UCLA and Washington, among others.
