Eight Notre Dame commits make Scout 300

Scout released its updated top 300 on Monday following the senior seasons for the 2016 class. Eight Notre Dame commits made the list.

Only six teams have more than Notre Dame's eight commits on the list: Alabama, Ohio State and LSU with 11 and Michigan, Stanford and Florida State with nine.

Offensive tackle Tommy Kraemer received the highest ranking at No. 37 overall as the No. 3 offensive tackle.

The following Irish commits also received a spot in the top 300:

OL Liam Eichenberg - No. 76 overall, No. 6 OT

RB Tony Jones Jr. - No. 154 overall, No. 9 RB

DE Julian Okwara - No. 203 overall, No. 24 DE

LB Daelin Hayes - No. 222 overall, No. 14 OLB

CB Donte Vaughn - No. 236 overall, No. 14 S

WR Chase Claypool - No. 279 overall, No. 12 TE

DE Khalid Kareem - No. 281 overall, No. 35 DE

Some of Notre Dame top remaining targets were slated in the top 100 including defensive end Oluwole Betiku (No. 8), linebacker Ben Davis (No. 15), linebacker Caleb Kelly (No. 17), athlete Demetris Robertson (No. 43), wide receiver Javon McKinley (No. 52), cornerback David Long Jr. (No. 65), linebacker Jeffrey McCulloch (No. 66), and wide receiver Donnie Corley (No. 100).
