Thirteen games later, the result is still the same.

Notre Dame (10-3) landed at No. 11 in the final Associated Press poll of the 2015 season, the same ranking it garnered prior to the season opener. In between, the team's three losses came to Clemson (No. 2), Stanford (No. 3) and Ohio State (No. 4).

Notre Dame's lone win over a top 25 program, according to the final AP poll, came against No. 18 Navy. Only one other three-loss team, Ole Miss (No. 10), finished higher than the Irish in the final AP poll.

The top 10 was comprised of three teams from the Big Ten, two from the SEC, two from the Big 12, one from the ACC, one from the Pac 12 and one from the American Athletic Conference.
