Ohio State won a battle of Midwest powers Monday night when defensive back Jordan Fuller announced his commitment to the Buckeyes.
The 6-2, 196-pound Fuller chose Ohio State over Michigan and Notre Dame. He made official visits to all three schools in the past two months.
Notre Dame sent four coaches — Brian Kelly, Scott Booker, Todd Lyght and Mike Elston — to make a final push for Fuller last Wednesday. But Fuller picked the Buckeyes as many expected.
247Sports slates the senior from Old Tappan (N.J.) Northern Valley Regional as a four-star recruit and the No. 2 athlete in the 2016 class. Rivals rates him as a three-star prospect and the No. 34 safety.
