2017 linebacker Nathan Proctor Jr. claims Notre Dame offer
IRISH STEW
Notre Dame has just two players from the state of Maryland on its roster — offensive lineman Sam Mustipher and cornerback Ashton White.
Might 2017 outside linebacker Nathan Proctor Jr. be the next name to join the list?
Proctor — a 6-foot-3, 210-pound linebacker from Lackey High School in Indian Head, Md. — claimed an offer from Notre Dame on Monday. He's ranked as a four-star prospect, the No. 4 player in the state of Maryland, the No. 14 outside linebacker and the No. 218 overall prospect in the 2017 class by Rivals, as well as a four-star recruit, the No. 5 player in Maryland, the No. 15 outside linebacker and the No. 173 outside linebacker by 247Sports.
Proctor adds the Irish to a crowded offer list featuring the likes of Florida, Georgia, Miami, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech and more.
