Maurice Crum is moving on from Notre Dame again.

The former Irish linebacker and, most recently, ND graduate assistant coach was named Friday as a full-time assistant coach at FCS school Indiana State.

Crum will coach cornerbacks and nickel backs for the Sycamores, whose head coach is Mike Sanford. Sanford himself is a former Irish assistant coach, under Bob Davie (1997-98), and Sanford’s son of the same name is the current Notre Dame quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator.

Before returning to ND in 2015, Crum served in a variety of coaching/football administrative roles for three years under former Irish head coach Charlie Weis, at Kansas. He assisted Todd Lyght with the defensive backs last season for the Irish.
