A defensive tackle from a school that Notre Dame has recruited heavily in the past year reported an offer Thursday. ND Insider takes a closer look at Kurt Hinish.

Notre Dame ties: Hinish teams with Irish linebacker target David Adams and Pittsburgh cornerback signee Damar Hamlin. Notre Dame sent five coaches — head coach Brian Kelly, linebackers coach Mike Elston, defensive line coach Keith Gilmore, tight ends coach Scott Booker and defensive backs coach Todd Lyght — to watch their team play last season when the Irish were in Pittsburgh.
