Three 2018 recruits reported Notre Dame offers Wednesday. ND Insider takes a closer look at new targets Houston Griffith, Palaie Gaoteote and Marcus Johnson.

Notre Dame connection: Griffith visited Notre Dame again Wednesday. He was previously on campus for last summer’s Irish Invasion and a spring practice last April. Griffith’s father is former Illinois and NFL running back Howard Griffith.

• ATH MARCUS JOHNSON, 5-10, 165; LOS ANGELES HAWKINS.
Junior stats: 75 carries for 936 yards and five touchdowns; 54 tackles, 11 tackles for a loss, five fumble recoveries, two sacks, one interception and two defensive touchdowns.
Rankings: Johnson has yet to receive a star rating from Rivals or 247Sports. Offers: Arizona, Arizona State, Boston College, California, Colorado and Oregon State.
Notre Dame connection: Johnson teams with 2017 Notre Dame targets Joseph Lewis and Greg Johnson, and 2018 target Jalen Hall at Hawkins. He visited Notre Dame last spring. Johnson said wide receivers coach Mike Denbrock likes him as an offensive weapon.
