Notre Dame's Ronnie Stanley, Brian Kelly to attend NFL Draft
IRISH STEW
Notre Dame offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley and head coach Brian Kelly will attend the NFL Draft in Chicago on April 28-30, the NFL reported Tuesday.
A 6-foot-6, 312-pound senior, Stanley is expected to be selected in the first round of the upcoming draft, likely somewhere in the top 10 picks. The Las Vegas native started all 39 games in his final three seasons in South Bend. Mississippi's Laremy Tunsil, regarded by many as the class' top tackle (and likely the top overall pick), will also attend.
Irish first round hopefuls wide receiver Will Fuller and linebacker Jaylon Smith are not expected to attend. Seventeen Notre Dame players participated in the Irish Pro Day last month.
Kelly will be one of 12 collegiate head coaches in attendance at Roosevelt University's Auditorium Theatre in Chicago. Check out the full list of attendees below.
