Bryant came to ND from American Heritage High School in Plantation, Fla., as a five-star prospect and ended up as a medical redshirt in 2013. He was ND’s second-leading rusher in 2014 before running into academic hot water and transferring to a Florida junior college, ASA Miami last August. That’s where he spent the 2015 fall semester.

In January, Bryant transferred to UAB, which was bringing back its football team from self-extinction and is set to resume a full FBS schedule in 2017.
