Notre Dame freshman offensive lineman Parker Boudreaux has been released from the hospital, Boudreaux tweeted late Tuesday night.

A 6-foot-3, 300-pound freshman, Boudreaux was admitted to a local hospital on Sunday. His mother, Sarah Boudreaux, posted on Facebook that Parker was diagnosed with viral meningitis.

However, it appears that the Winter Garden, Fla., native and Bishop Moore High School alum has fought off the infection. He'll be one of three freshman offensive linemen attempting to make a positive first impression when Notre Dame opens fall camp in Culver, Ind., on Aug. 6.

I'm out of the hospital! Can't thank everyone enough for all the prayers. Truly means a lot to me
