Notre Dame QB commit Phil Jurkovec featured in 2018 Rivals 100

Phil Jurkovec was Notre Dame's lone commit to appear in the updated 2018 Rivals 100, which was released Monday.

A 6-foot-5, 202-pound quarterback, Jurkovec appeared at No. 57 in the updated rankings, behind seven other quarterbacks.

Notre Dame's five other 2018 commits — linebacker Bo Bauer, linebacker Ovi Oghoufo, outside linebacker Justin Ademilola, defensive tackle Jayson Ademilola and running back Markese Stepp — did not make the top 100. Only Jurkovec and Bauer currently have rankings from Rivals, both being assessed as four-star recruits.

Jurkovec, Stepp, Bauer and the Ademilola brothers are all ranked as four-star recruits by 247Sports. Oghoufo is currently unranked by both services.

Notre Dame's six commits are by far the most the program has had this early in a recruiting cycle in the Brian Kelly era.
