Notre Dame has worked so far ahead in its 2018 recruiting class that some commits had yet to receive star ratings. That ended this week at least when it comes to Rivals rankings.

All six Irish commits in the 2018 class now have grades from Rivals with three landing in the Rivals 250 as four-star recruits.

As expected, quarterback Phil Jurkovec landed highest on the list at No. 57 overall. The 6-foot-5, 202-pound signal caller is ranked as the No. 3 dual-threat quarterback in the class.

Notre Dame’s latest commit, linebacker Bo Bauer, earned the second-highest ranking at No. 116 overall. Rivals slates him as the No. 5 inside linebacker in the class.

In-state running back Markese Stepp also found himself on the list at No. 174 overall. The Indianapolis product was ranked as the No. 11 running back in the class.

The other three commits in Notre Dame’s 2018 class — Ovie Oghoufo, Justin Ademilola and Jayson Ademilola — received three-star ratings.

Oghoufo ranked the highest of the group as the No. 17 outside linebacker. Justin Ademilola was pegged as the No. 25 outside linebacker. His twin brother, Jayson Ademilola, landed at the No. 32 spot for defensive tackles.

Rivals has yet to rank the committed classes for schools across the country in the 2018 class.
