A glimpse of Notre Dame’s football future will be on display Saturday. Three Irish commits will play in nationally televised games on ESPN networks.

Quarterback Phil Jurkovec, a 2018 recruit, will start the day representing Notre Dame in his season opener for Gibsonia (Pa.) Pine-Richland. The Rams will play at Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward at noon EDT on ESPN.

Offensive lineman Robert Hainsey, a 2017 recruit, will continue the Irish display when Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy plays at Loganville (Ga.) Grayson on ESPN2. The game is set to kick off at 6 p.m. EDT.

Quarterback Avery Davis, another 2017 recruit, will close the night at 9 p.m. EDT on ESPN2. His Cedar Hill (Texas) High team will host Las Vegas Bishop Gorman and Ohio State quarterback commit Tate Martell.

The three games featuring Notre Dame commits are a part of ESPN’s High School Football Kickoff, a showcase that includes 10 games in three days. The complete list of games for the weekend can be found here.

ESPN will feature 12 more games throughout the season. Notre Dame linebacker commit Drew White will play at Bishop Gorman on Friday, Sept. 30 on ESPNU. Hainsey and IMG Academy will appear on ESPN2 once again on Friday, Oct. 21 in a game at Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian.
