Notre Dame Stadium opened in fall 1930, when famed coach Knute Rockne was leading the Fighting Irish. In more than 80 years since, the stadium has been the site of countless memorable moments in the history of Notre Dame football.

The stadium was expanded by more than 20,000 seats in 1997, and it's now going through a transformation as part of the $400 million Campus Crossroads project.
