When it comes to the tight end position at Notre Dame, help is on the way.
Through five games this season, Irish tight ends hold a combined five catches for 65 yards and a touchdown. That production will likely increase in 2017, as Alize Jones returns and highly touted freshmen Brock Wright and Cole Kmet, both consensus four-star prospects, join the Notre Dame arsenal.
In fact, Wright (6-foot-5, 249) and Kmet (6-5, 238) landed at No. 1 and 2 in CBS Sports' list of the top 10 tight ends in the 2017 signing class.
