As football coaching staffs across the country turn their full attention to the 2018 class, 247Sports has done the same. The recruiting service released an updated Top 247 for the high school juniors.

Four of Notre Dame's six commitments in the 2018 class made the list.

Quarterback Phil Jurkovec remains the highest-ranked commitment in the class. 247Sports pegs him as the No. 1 dual-threat quarterback and No. 12 overall. Jurkovec is ranked behind only one pro-style quarterback: Clemson commit Trevor Lawrence.

Linebacker Bo Bauer is the next Irish commit to appear on the list. 247Sports slates him as the No. 5 inside linebacker and No. 151 overall.

Defensive tackle Jayson Ademilola (No. 18 DT, No. 210 overall) and running back Markese Stepp (No. 10 RB, No. 221 overall) also made the cut.

Outside linebacker Ovie Oghoufo (No. 26 OLB, No. 373 overall) and defensive end Justin Ademilola (No. 33 OLB, No. 496 overall) round out the Irish class, which is ranked No. 6 nationally by 247Sports.

Only Penn State (11 commits), Miami (8), Kansas (8), Florida State (6) and Clemson (5) are ranked ahead of Notre Dame.
