The quest for landing defensive line talent continued for Notre Dame on Thursday when defensive end Andrew Chatfield made a campus visit.

The Irish extended an offer to Chatfield on Feb. 28, and the four-star recruit returned the favor with a trip to South Bend. He posted photos from his visit on Twitter.

The 6-foot-2, 221-pound Chatfield also visited Wisconsin on Wednesday.

As a junior at Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage, Chatfield tallied 84 tackles, 27 tackles for a loss and 21 sacks.

247Sports slates Chatfield as the No. 15 weakside defensive end in the 2018 class. Rivals ranks him as the No. 12 outside linebacker.

Rover target Shayne Simon also visited Notre Dame on Thursday.
