#NDInsider Twitter Chatter: Notre Dame-Miami (Ohio)
IRISH STEW
Twitter can be a fun (or depressing) and brutally honest (or unreasonable) place during Notre Dame football games. That's why we open up this space for the #NDInsider Twitter Chatter after games.
During the game, readers are encouraged to send their thoughts and observations with the #NDInsider hashtag to be considered for our postgame fan recap. They joined us with their 140-character takes during the game.
Part of our weekly routine includes predicting the final score of the game. Somehow I managed to nail the score exactly for Notre Dame's 52-17 win over Miami (Ohio). Thanks to loyal reader @andrewwinn, it garnered a little extra attention for the #NDInsider Twitter Chatter.
We'll get the ball rolling with score predictions. I'm taking #NotreDame 52, Miami 17. How about you? #NDInsider

I'm not sure that will happen again. What's more likely to happen again is Josh Adams breaking long touchdown runs. He returned to his ways with a 73-yard touchdown on the second play of the game for the Irish. He scored on a 59-yard run later in the first quarter to give Notre Dame an early 21-7 lead.
Josh Adams is a man playing among boys! #NDInsider

Josh Adams. He is, what you would say, good at football. #NDInsider

Josh Adams. mean and viscous. #NDInsider

If @NDFootball keeps winning, and Adams keeps seeing, balancing, motoring, and scoring, put him in the @HeismanTrophy conversation #GoIRISH#MIAvsND#NDInsider

Wide receiver Chase Claypool hauled in a seven-yard touchdown pass on a fade in the end zone to cap the first-quarter scoring for Notre Dame. A 28-7 margin was a good way to erase any doubts on the outcome of the game.

Notre Dame continued its drubbing of Miami to turn Saturday's game into a laugher. With 45 points in the first half, the Irish nearly matched its season-high for points in a game: 49 against Temple and Boston College.
A different game. #NDInsider

A mercy rule called? #NDInsider

Do the Irish not have a quick slant in their playbook anymore? #NDInsider

Notre Dame reached its season-high in scoring with a 26-yard touchdown run by Deon McIntosh with 8:10 left in the game.

I can't believe #NotreDame has 52 points...I've been waiting for a game like this #ndinsider

After easily clobbering Miami, did we learn anything new about the Irish? Clearly the offense isn't a finishing product with continued inconsistencies in the passing game. But the strengths of Notre Dame remain evident. The Irish can run the ball, score quickly and often, prevent big plays on defense and force turnovers.
Takeaways: we have a solid back up QB, o-line is getting better , RB depth is tremendous, Julian Love is having a solid year #NDInsider

Wimbush still looks shaky but if our O Line dominates like this. We will win out #NDInsider

#NDInsider Our QB looks lost too often. Good teams will make him win games and I wonder if he can do that? Has to improve as opp get better

On positive note, defensive takeaways are remarkable improvement this year! #NDInsider

Good win, like it should be..but, we learned nothing from game. Need only power 5 teams as ND only plays 12 and no championship #NDInsider
