Podcast: ND Insider presents 'Pod of Gold'

Notre Dame football season is almost here.

In anticipation, the ND Insider staff is trying something new. Tyler James and Eric Hansen will now host a weekly podcast throughout the season. The "Pod of Gold" will offer a unique, informed and lighthearted look at the Irish football program.

In its debut episode, "Pod of Gold" features special guest Mike Vorel, former ND Insider colleague and current writer for the Seattle Times. Vorel discusses his new job, his view of the Irish, former Irish running back C.J. Prosise's role with the Seattle Seahawks and how Washington's program compares to Notre Dame.

The episode also includes a weekly breakdown of all the Joneses on Notre Dame's roster (13:05), the Punctuation Mark of the Week (20:08), prop bets on the 2018 season (22:33) and questions from Twitter (36:20).
