Park Hills (Ky.) Covington Catholic tight end Michael Mayer, ND's top-rated commit, dropped eight spots to No. 90 overall. He ranks as the No. 2 tight end as well. The 6-5, 240-pounder committed last month on July 1, making him Notre Dame’s most recent commit in the class.

Kevin Bauman trails Mayer by a spot as the No. 3 tight end. Red Bank (N.J.) Catholic’s 6-5, 226-pound junior fell nine spots to No. 152 overall.

The first Irish commit, New Canaan (Conn.) High’s Drew Pyne, declined seven spots to No. 229 overall. The 6-1, 172-pounder is the No. 8 pro-style quarterback.
