Notre Dame-Wake Forest will kick off at noon

When Notre Dame football hits the road later this month for its first away game, the Irish won't have to wait long to get the game started.
The ACC announced Monday that Notre Dame's game at Wake Forest on Saturday, Sept. 22 will kick off at noon. ABC will carry the game on television.
Notre Dame's first road game in 2017 at Boston College was also a noon kickoff. The Irish won 49-20.
No other Notre Dame games this season are currently scheduled for a noon kickoff. Three road games do not have a scheduled start yet: Virginia Tech, Northwestern and USC.
