Pod of Gold: Previewing Notre Dame-Florida State with Bobby Bowden

Twenty-five years ago, No. 2 Notre Dame beat No. 1 Florida State 31-24 in what was dubbed "The Game of the Century."

With the Irish and Seminoles set to meet once again in Notre Dame Stadium on Saturday, we wanted to reach back into that rich history for this week's "Pod of Gold" podcast.

Former Florida State coach Bobby Bowden joined the show to discuss his memories of that 1993 classic game, the importance of playing at Notre Dame, his relationship with former Irish coach Lou Holtz and his thoughts on the states of both programs (:28).

Tyler and Eric then offer predictions for Saturday's game in the "Place Your Bets" segment (13:15).

Later, Tyler and Eric provide the latest edition of "Keeping up with the Joneses" (19:56), nominate cornerback Troy Pride Jr. for "Punctuation Mark of the Week" (20:56), and answer questions from Twitter. (22:50).
