Notre Dame RB commit Kyren Williams receives major boost in new 247Sports rankings
Two months ago, ND Insider released an article titled, "Three-star Kyren Williams looking like Notre Dame's most underrated recruit."
That might not be the case anymore, as ND's 2019 commit earned a four-star rating in 247Sports updated rankings. Williams, a running back, was bumped 132 spots and is now the No. 238 overall player.

Williams is having a season to remember for Kirkwood (Mo.) St. John Vianney. He has 1,385 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns on 110 carries, along with 47 catches for 653 yards and 10 touchdowns.
The Golden Griffiths advanced to the state quarterfinals after Williams rushed for 248 yards and four touchdowns in last week's 55-14 victory over Chaminade.
Atlanta Marist safety Kyle Hamilton garnered a healthy boost in the previous rankings, nearing him toward five-star territory. The 2019 commit remained at No. 29 overall in the new rankings, placing him a few spots away from five-star status.
Gibsonia (Pa.) Pine-Richland offensive tackle Andrew Kristofic, a four-star 2019 commit, elevated 32 spots to No. 116 overall. Bowling Green (Ky.) South Warren defensive tackle Jacob Lacey, a four-star 2019 commit, dropped 35 spots to No. 163 overall.
247Sports now rates 14 of ND's 2019 commits as four-stars and has the Irish ranked as the No. 13 class.
