Pod of Gold: Previewing Notre Dame-USC with Kapron Lewis-Moore

Notre Dame is one win away from an almost certain trip to the College Football Playoff. A perfect regular season for the No. 3 Irish (11-0) can be had with a win at USC (5-6) on Saturday.

This week on the "Pod of Gold" podcast, Tyler James and Eric Hansen invited on someone who has been this situation before: former Notre Dame defensive end Kapron Lewis-Moore. He was a captain on Notre Dame's 2012 team, which ended the regular season with a 22-13 win at USC to earn a spot in the BCS National Championship Game.

On the show, Kapron discussed handling the pressure of that USC game, the attention that came to the program that season, how the 2012 Irish would fare against the 2018 version, the play of Notre Dame's defensive line and more (:48).

Kapron stuck around to offer predictions with Tyler and Eric for Saturday's game and beyond in the "Place Your Bets" segment (17:56).
