Pod of Gold: Talking College Football Playoff, quarterbacks and more with Charlie Weis

Notre Dame is College Football Playoff bound with a clash with Clemson set for December 29 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. That means there's plenty of time to dissect the matchup in the coming weeks.

Tyler James and Eric Hansen began their podcast previews by bringing on former Notre Dame head coach Charlie Weis to join this week's "Pod of Gold."

On the show, Weis shared his thoughts on Notre Dame's chances against Clemson, the pro potential of quarterback Ian Book, the future for quarterback Brandon Wimbush, recruiting during his time at Notre Dame and more (:34).

Then, Tyler and Eric offer predictions for Notre Dame's ECHOES awards show in the "Place Your Bets" segment (31:12).
