Pod of Gold: Reviewing the end of Notre Dame's season with Brady Quinn
IRISH STEW
Notre Dame was dismantled by big plays in a 30-3 loss to Clemson in the College Football Playoff semifinal. Now Notre Dame must pick up the pieces and find a way to get back to the playoff to redeem itself.
For the first podcast of the offseason, Tyler James and Eric Hansen wanted to bring on former Irish quarterback Brady Quinn to break down what he saw from Notre Dame in 2018 and what he expects from the program moving forward.
On the show, Brady discusses Notre Dame's performance against Clemson, the offensive play calling for the Irish, the development of quarterback Ian Book, the program's chances of winning a national championship in the near future and more (:37).
Then Brady, Tyler and Eric offer predictions for the Clemson-Alabama game in the "Place Your Bets" segment (24:46).
Later, Tyler and Eric provide the latest edition of "Keeping up with the Joneses" (31:27), nominate linebacker Te'von Coney for "Punctuation Mark of the Week" (36:12), and answer questions from listeners (40:45).
