Pod of Gold: Alex Bars on preparing for the NFL Draft

On Thursday, the NFL released its list of 338 players invited to the NFL Combine. Eight former Notre Dame players made the list including offensive lineman Alex Bars. So Tyler James and Eric Hansen invited Bars onto the podcast this week to catch up with him as he recovers from his season-ending knee injury and prepares for an NFL career.

On the show, Bars discussed training in California, his reaction to Sam Mustipher not receiving a combine invite, being coached by Harry Hiestand and Jeff Quinn, workouts under Matt Balis and more (:30).

Then Tyler and Eric weighed in on the brand new Alliance of American Football league in the "Place Your Bets" segment (19:04).

Later, Tyler and Eric answered questions from Twitter on the 2019 recruiting class, the future for the Irish at running back and on the offensive line and more (24:40).
